Looking Back at the Debut Exhibition of Uncharted Print
On 25 July 2026, Uncharted Print reached a milestone we had been dreaming about for months. What began as an idea to transform moments captured through the lens into timeless fine art became a reality as we officially launched our debut collection, Coastal Calm, at The Electric, District Six, Cape Town, South Africa.
More than an exhibition, the evening was a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and community. It was an opportunity to share the journey behind every photograph with people who appreciate the power of art to transform a space and evoke emotion.
A Warm Welcome
From the moment the doors opened, the venue came alive with conversation, excitement, and curiosity. Throughout the evening, more than 80 guests joined us, creating a full house and an atmosphere that exceeded every expectation.
Friends, family, art lovers, photographers, collectors, and first-time visitors came together to experience Coastal Calm our first fine art photography collection inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Cape Town’s coastline.
Seeing guests pause in front of each photograph, discuss their favorite pieces, and connect with the stories behind the collection made every early morning, every journey, and every hour spent preparing worthwhile.
The Story Behind the Collection
One of the highlights of the evening was the opening address by our founder, who shared the story behind Uncharted Print and the inspiration that shaped the Coastal Calm collection.
The speech reflected on the journey from exploring Cape Town’s coastline with a camera to building a brand dedicated to museum-quality fine art photography. It spoke about seeing familiar places from new perspectives, preserving fleeting moments, and creating artwork that allows people to bring those experiences into their own homes and spaces.
It was a reminder that every print represents far more than a photograph it represents patience, exploration, and the pursuit of beauty.
An Evening of Conversations
One of the most rewarding parts of the exhibition was watching people engage with the collection.
Guests spent time exploring each piece, asking questions about the locations, sharing their interpretations, and discovering the stories behind the photographs.

Celebrating New Collectors
We were honored to welcome our very first collectors during the exhibition.
Several pieces from the Coastal Calm collection found new homes, marking the beginning of what we hope will be many more collections shared with people who value original fine art photography.
Every purchase represented more than a sale it was a vote of confidence in our vision and the beginning of our journey as a fine art brand.
The Raffle Draw
Another memorable moment of the evening was our exhibition raffle draw.
With 43 entries, the raffle brought an extra sense of excitement to the event. At the close of the evening, one lucky winner was drawn and announced, taking home a special prize from Uncharted Print.
